Moisturisation Evaluation
The moisturizing test measures the hydration or moisturization level of the skin surface. This is achieved through the use of Corneometer CM 825, a device that measures the electrical capacitance of the skin's surface to determine its hydration level. The device has a small probe that is placed on the skin's surface, and it measures the electrical impedance of the skin's corneal layer.
By measuring the hydration level of the skin before and after application of a product, the moisturizing effectiveness of the product can be determined.
