Skin Elasticity/Firmness Evaluation
The skin elasticity/firmness test measures the skin's ability to stretch and return to its original position, as well as its overall firmness. This can be evaluated using a device called a Cutometer® Dual MPA 580.
During the test, a probe is placed on the skin and a vacuum is applied to create a suction force. The device then measures the skin's ability to stretch and the time it takes for the skin to return to its original position after the vacuum is released. The results are then analyzed to determine the skin's elasticity and firmness.
This test is commonly used to evaluate the effectiveness of products designed to improve skin elasticity and firmness, such as anti-aging creams and serums.
