Stretch Marks Evaluation

This test evaluates the efficacy of a product in reducing stretch marks. The test is carried out using ultrasonography on both normal and abnormal skin (with a single stretch mark) of the abdomen. The measurements are expressed in two parameters: epidermal entry echo and full skin thickness before and after application of the product. The epidermal entry echo is the distance between the epidermis and the dermis, while the full skin thickness is the distance between the epidermis and the subcutaneous tissue. By comparing these measurements before and after product application, the effectiveness of the product in reducing stretch marks can be determined.

This test is a reliable and objective way to evaluate the efficacy of a product in reducing stretch marks and can provide valuable information about the kind of claims that can be made.
