Conditioning/Combing Effect
The test is carried out using Dia-Stron MTT175, for hair care products through the wet and dry combing method, to measure the force required to comb through wet and dry hair tresses before and after product application.
The wet combing test is used to simulate the tangles and knots that occur during shampooing, while the dry combing test evaluates the ease of detangling and smoothness of the hair when it is dry. By comparing the results before and after product application, the conditioning effect of the product can be determined.
This method is an objective way to assess the effectiveness of hair conditioners in improving the manageability of hair and can provide valuable information for hair care companies in developing and marketing their products and its claims.
