Boots Star

The Boots Star rating system is a popular method used to measure the level of UVA protection offered by a sunscreen product. The rating is based on the ratio of UVA to UVB protection provided by the product.  
 
The Boots Star rating system ranges from 0 to 5 stars, with a higher number of stars indicating better UVA protection. To achieve a higher rating, a product needs to provide a higher level of UVA protection relative to its UVB protection.
