Anti-Static Assessment
The Anti-Static test for hair measures the effectiveness of a product in reducing or eliminating static effect in hair.
In this test, hair tresses are subjected to a controlled environment with specific levels of humidity and temperature to induce static charge. The tresses are then evaluated for their static charge before and after the application of the product. This evaluation can be performed visually by experts or through instrumentation such as a static electricity meter. A reduction in static charge indicates the product's ability to prevent frizz, flyaways, and other static-related issues in hair.
This test is particularly useful for hair care companies to substantiate claims of their product's ability to reduce static and improve manageability of hair.
