Wrinkle & Fine Line Evaluation
This test measures the effectiveness of a product in reducing the appearance of crow's feet wrinkles & fine lines.
The intensity of the wrinkles can be evaluated by 2 methods.
1st is an evaluation by dermatologist using a visual grading scale.
2nd is fringe projection analysis, by making a silicone rubber replica of the studied area and conducting fringe projection analysis. This analysis allows for the measurement of the depth and number of wrinkles in the affected area.
The test typically involves applying the product to the targeted area over a period of time, followed by evaluation of the results. The reduction in the intensity of wrinkles is assessed by comparing the initial measurements to those taken after the product has been applied.
This test is important for assessing the efficacy of anti-aging products, as it provides objective data on the product's ability to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve skin texture.
